About

Reveille Bible Church was founded in August of 2016 by Dr. Dennis and Lora Kirkland, missionaries to Guam, to offer expository Bible teaching and Christian fellowship to members of the military and the local community. Dennis served in the United States Marine Corps on Guam in the 1980’s, and after being ministered to by godly men and women during his years in the USMC, Dennis felt God calling him to go into missions to serve members of the military. He and Lora have served in several fields, notably eleven years pastoring a church outside of Roosevelt Roads Naval Air Station in Puerto Rico. Dennis received a doctorate of ministry from Liberty Seminary in 2008. They and their children have been based out of Yigo, Guam, since 2010 reaching out to the military with church services, Bible studies, spiritual development and counseling, and hospitality.

Vision Statement

The PURPOSE for Reveille Bible Church is to exalt Christ by gathering in His name to worship Him, to receive instruction from His Word, to enjoy fellowship with others and prepare to evangelize the lost. In general, we exist as a body for Him and for His glory.   Specifically, we focus on reaching out to the military communities of Guam.

Our GOAL is to become a self-supporting church that will “proclaim Him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ” (Col. 1:28).

Our METHOD is to offer the “Bread of Life” and the “Living Water” to all through Bible centered teaching/preaching/discipleship. We envision the lives of our people standing in such stark and inviting contrast to the surrounding culture that people will be drawn to ask us the reason for the hope that we have.  (John 6:35) (1 Chron. 12:32)  (John 7:37–38) (1 Pet. 3:15)

BY THE GRACE OF GOD, REVEILLE BIBLE CHURCH WILL STRIVE TO …

Equip individuals for their God-given purpose: We see a church that is equipping believers to discover and use the spiritual gifts that have been given to them by God, helping them find that unique purpose and task to which God has called them. (Eph. 4:11–16)

Passionately share the Gospel of Christ: We see a church that is intentionally reaching people with the good news that a holy God reconciled sinful human beings to Himself through Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 5:18–21)

Nurture spiritual growth: We see a church community that wins people to faith and nurtures the spiritual growth of all believers in all phases of their lives—as singles and couples, children and teenagers, mothers and fathers and grandparents. We envision every believer being discipled and discipling others to become people who love the Lord with heart, mind, soul, and strength, and who are inspired to share Christ’s love with those who do not yet know Him. (Matt. 22:37)

Develop new leaders: We see a church that is raising up the next generation of church leaders from among our own people.  (2 Timothy 2:2)
